One remarkable place. Three very different interpretations.

Apparently, one version of the Moeraki Boulders wasn’t enough.

Over the years, I’ve reimagined this extraordinary stretch of coastline in three quite different styles, from rich, painterly colour to intricate pattern and a more abstract study of the boulders themselves.

There’s no "right" way to choose art.

You might be drawn to a place you know. You might choose colours that completely change the mood of a room. Or you might simply see something and think, “That’s the one.”

That last reason is as good as any.

Art doesn’t need a lengthy explanation. If you enjoy looking at it and it feels right in your home, you’ve chosen well.

Phew! Our Spring Sale wrapped up on Sunday night, with a lovely last-minute flurry of people choosing art for their walls on Sunday afternoon.

Thank you to everyone who ordered prints - your support and love of the work means the world to us!

The most popular print was Take Me To The River, while a few customers needed something a little outside our standard sizes.

They sent us photos of their walls, we created mock-ups to show how different options would look in the space, and Steve helped them work out the sizing that suited the room best.

Buying art online can involve a bit of imagination. If you’re ever unsure about the size, framing or how a piece might look in your home, send us a photo. We’re always happy to help.

When it comes to artwork, size makes more difference than people expect.

A smaller print can add colour and personality to a shelf, hallway or quiet corner.

A larger piece can anchor an entire room, particularly above a sofa, bed or dining table.

If you’re unsure, try marking the dimensions on your wall with masking tape. It gives you a much better sense of how the finished artwork will sit in the space.
