My name is Nancy, an Asian girl living in New Zealand. I make handmade greeting cards, hand-carved stamps and sometimes handmade flowers. I have always loved making my own cards as it seem to bring out more warmth, more love and more thoughts. In 2008 I came across a papercraft book that talked about quilling (the art or craft of rolling up paper strips to create different shapes and patterns), I

was absolutely fascinated by it! I never thought thin paper strips can be rolled into such vibrant looking shapes and flowers. I knew immediately this was what I wanted to do. I am also big on reducing wastes and trying to recycle as much as possible, having thin paper strips evolving into beautiful, vibrant shapes really spoke to me. With friends' encouragements I decided to make the dream of creating my own business come into realisation. All my creations are handmade by myself. I hope you and whoever you send them to will enjoy them :-)

A Christmas card that was sent to the Grand Rapids, Michigan this year to encourage a young man. This year I took a year off from work and joined some mission works overseas. I got to see what real love looks like, where people selflessly gave and looked out for the interest of one another. It was refreshing in a world where everyone calculates and centres on self. What a better world it would be if we all did this for each other! Go bless someone today, with whatever you have, even if all you have is a smile or a kind word :)

With this handmade wreath, I want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Although we may not all be completely well or happy but we can all receive the joy of the Jesus in our hearts. 700 years before His birth, Isaiah prophesised on Jesus’ arrival and He’s the good news! 💕🎄

Happy lunar new year to those who are celebrating! In Chinese culture, elders would give the youngsters a red packet filled with money as a sign of blessing and prosperity. And children who are working might also give red packets to parents. When we were in Taiwan, many businesses (like bank) would give out free red packets for people to take, so we never had to buy red packets to fill. However this is not the case in New Zealand, so I usually make my own red packets to give to my parents. This year I’ve got an extra one for an international student who’s stuck here and can’t return home. This is a stamp I carved many years ago, it’s got all the Chinese horoscope animals on there so it can be used for any year 🤣.
