Working on a new tissue box cover. Thought, I have a lot of little beads, oh how cute, they look like hundreds and thousands, viola. So real looking that my son tried some, was not impressed, ah they're tiny glass beads!! Awkward. He's ok, he's 19. They eat anything!
So I thought I would put images around the edge and lid and make part of the image 3D!
Oh boy, good idea but I've burnt a few brain cells trying to achieve this and I haven't even finished but I'm attempting to make them out of a kind of putty stuff...hoping it turns out as good as I pictured in my head....🤔🙄🤣
Pic of some artwork ready to be adhered and the 3D parts not quite finished yet...what do you think?

30 plus years ago I did a ceramics and I loved it. This fairy piece had been put together by one of the tutors. I bought it and glazed the ball in mother of pearl and painted the fairy and butterflies in acrylics. I thought it was pretty good back then. I have always wanted to give this to my Mum as she loved fairies. Mum recently passed and I've decided to put her bag of ashes inside this piece but I wanted to paint it to look a bit like my Mum with her blue eyes etc, when she was well. Because the fairy etc had been already sprayed with acrylic sealer I had to try and sand off as much as i could of the original paint and paint over it. Not as easy as i thought! Its been a mission and a lot of trial and error, paint on wipe off. Several attempts later and im pretty happy with it so far.
A friend suggested I should set this whole piece is resin so when it is placed on Mum's parents and brothers grave it hopefully won't be so easy to damage...watch this space...

Not really 'vintage' but wanted to share anyway...my father-in-law gave me this cool piece of wood he had saved. I thought of trying to make a owl but then thought of, just a moon...thinking of you Errol up in the heavens, we think and talk of you often...we miss you ⚪️

I have a few handmade (by me) daisy beaded bracelets and or anklets for sale. 💰

These take a long time to make, probably 1.5hrs.
But I have tried to keep them affordable 🤩

Please note anklets are best worn with jandals or slides, not sneakers. 🩴🩴 ❌️👟

Found out my car is on its last legs, selling all stored art very cheap...I am not doing the markets like I was once a month, ...grab a bargain, for you, a friend loved one or maybe a work mate...none of these are perfect as they shouldn't be as they are 'vintage' and still awesome vintaged prints mounted on ply...I love them but they have to go...
