This adorable Airbnb design was inspired by the iconic railway cottages that were built across New Zealand in the 1920's.
Given it's proximity to a railway line and echoing the character of the main home on property, it was a match made in heaven.

☀️ This cozy corner boasts a stunning garden view, and we couldn't bear to clutter it with kids 'stuff'. So, I turned the need for storage into a chic window seat – a serene spot for sipping coffee while the little ones play (we can dream right?). This space seamlessly blends relaxation with practicality 🌿✨

Seeking guidance on optimizing your space? Not sure how far to stretch the budget in order to get the functionality you need? 💶⚖️
Don't worry, let's unlock the potential together!

This design was part of a whole house reconfiguration. In this space the rumpus was to become my clients master bedroom complete with ensuite and wardrobe.
What they weren't sure of however, was;
❓️whether to move the laundry out to the garage to give them more space and
❓️ whether removing the load bearing wall between the rumpus the laundry would be worth the extra money.

My job was to explore various options within each scenario and present them with a range of possibilities for the space, giving them a clear picture of what was possible within the each scenario. That way they could weigh up functionality vs cost to make an informed decision before moving forward 🌟
