Last week I had a lovely customer who purchased a solider doll. Later that day she came back and asked if I could make a lady solider. This morning this lovely lady came by to pick up her lady solider. Turns out both her brother and sister in law are in the army and she had bought them for her niece as a Christmas present so she could have dolls that looked like her mum and dad. Such a heartwarming story and such an amazing gift to be a part of ❤️❤️

Hi, I’m Fran. The creator behind Little Loveables — a small collection of handmade fabric, crochet, and knitted dolls, each one created with care, character, and a whole lot of love.

I actually started making dolls by accident. I’ve always enjoyed crocheting, knitting, and thrifting — and somehow, dolls became the perfect way to bring those hobbies together. It’s something that brings me a lot of joy, and I feel really lucky to share my dolls with others.

Each doll is made using a mix of new and thrifted fabrics and yarns. I love the idea of giving old materials a new story. (My husband, however, often threatens to ban me from shopping — especially when I come home with yet another “perfect hair” yarn.)

At the heart of it, I believe everyone is different — and I want Little Loveables to be a reflection of the people who buy them: individual, just like them. That’s why no two Little Loveables are ever quite the same.
