Over the last few weeks, with friends and family visiting, I’ve had the chance to play Christchurch tour guide…
There were visits to some of my favourite shops (Henry Trading , HAPA ), a long overdue visit to the Riccarton Market - Hiiii to Jo’s husband on the Eden Orchards stand 🍒 - and I got to chat to Olivia from Posh Porridge 🥣
In Lyttelton we enjoyed our first ever (and delish) lunch at Civil & Naval
We took our visitors on walks we never tire of…Cass Bay to Lyttelton and of course the very local to us, Harry Els Track. Don’t you love a walk that culminates in the most amazing Date Scones Sign of the Kiwi Cafe
And I’m not sure a visit for Maryanne to another favourite place of mine, my hairdresser Hair on Mayfield really counts as sightseeing…but for her it was a definite highlight!
And, of course, everyone enjoyed a few visits to a cute wee shop on the hill called SHELF😝 So lovely seeing familiar places in Christchurch through fresh eyes and just when the beautiful cherry blossoms are starting to bloom xx
