It’s in the blood!
For my whole life, I’ve been part of the joinery world. I came across an article about my dad from 10 years ago—he started his joinery career right out of high school. School wasn’t really his thing, but he’s excelled in his craft and retired a few months ago.

My very first job was at the joinery factory, and I’ve worked my way up from sweeping floors, cleaning bathrooms and the office, to now designing kitchens.

Dad, I hope I make you proud!

Antiques have a way of adding depth and interest to a space.
Each piece carries a story, a whisper from the past that brings warmth, character, and a sense of timeless beauty. I love adding a few special antiques to a room—not just for style, but to create a meaningful connection between past and present. It’s those unique touches that truly make a space feel like home. I have a few pieces around my home that belonged to my great grandmother. I love the story they tell.

I finally managed to pop in and meet the owner of Bridge Interiors at the Redwood store. Not to far from my studio. Along side some lovely new pieces I found these beauties! I look forward to working with Bridge interiors soon 😍.

Struggling to imagine what your renovation or new home will really look like? You’re not alone—it’s one of the biggest challenges for most clients.
I have been practicing making videos for my clients to help them envision their new home or renovations. I am still working on it, its still a bit jittery and there is a floating plant. I am improving and will keep practicing!

I’m eagerly awaiting, visiting this colourful beauty in Little River. My clients have been loving renovating their 1970s family home and they aren’t afraid of colour! The colours used are Chatham Islands and Ruby Bay.

I had the privilege of visiting my client’s newly completed kitchen today, and it’s truly rewarding to see a project come to life—from concept to reality.
The previous layout posed several challenges, most notably the single entrance/exit that no longer functioned efficiently. The kitchen, being the focal point of the home’s main living areas, felt overwhelming. The heavy, dark cabinetry, coupled with the lowered ceiling, created a sense of visual weight that hindered the space’s potential.
The client's vision was clear: they desired a kitchen that was light, bright, and inviting. A soft, cream-on-cream palette in a classical style was chosen to not only enhance the space but also to create a perfect setting for entertaining. The result is a seamless, open design that exudes both elegance and functionality.
