Part 2 - Creating a false stem on your ranunculus 🌼
It's important to leave the stem for a couple of days before skewering because otherwise they split easily when fresh. Drying it out just give it a touch more flex.
You can also use a heavy wire rather than a skewer, which you can then bend into interesting shapes once dried.

How I add colour to my dried flowers...💐
This is a great technique for restoring a bouquet after sun damage, or even just punching up the colour for a special project (it takes a while to do so it's a labour of love!)

Can it Silica? Blossom edition 🌸
For anyone wondering this was a Mount Fuji Blossom.
100% get in on this while the blossoms are out if you have silica.
I forgot to film the silica portion of the video so if you would like to see this just let me know in the comments.
Don't forget once the petals are dried, you can let the stems airdry the rest of the way. This will mean you can dry more while they are here!
