Tiny pencils in junior classrooms don’t exactly have a long life expectancy 😅

There’s a reason jumbo pencils get reordered all the time... They’re easier for little hands to hold, they cope better with daily classroom chaos, and they don’t disappear/break nearly as fast.

Honestly, sometimes spending a little smarter upfront saves a lot of headaches later.

Our April Calendar Art Competition theme was Sculpture, and we were so impressed by the creativity and detail in these entries.

A big congratulations to Elmwood School in Christchurch 👏 Their tui sculptures were inspired by their learning as the Tui Team this year - a fantastic example of combining art with classroom learning. 🐦💚
