Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda — gateway to the Coromandel Peninsula — has been enhanced with 12 brand new guest cabins. Known for its natural hot mineral pools, coastal walks, cycling trails and nearby beaches, the park is a year-round favourite for families and travellers.

Our scope included twelve new cabins, upgrades to the existing ablution facilities, a new pool, and full site observation. Construction was staged carefully to keep the park open throughout.

The completed facilities lift the guest experience and reinforce Tasman Holiday Parks Miranda's standing as a premier destination on the Coromandel.

The Arbor Green development consists of 10 architecturally designed townhouses, carefully arranged to respond to the site’s context and maximise livability for residents.

SIP construction throughout means better thermal performance, less waste on site, and a tighter build overall. Layouts are oriented for sunlight and natural ventilation, and each home has private outdoor space that's actually usable, not just a token gesture.

The design is contemporary without being loud — durable materials, a coherent streetscape. Sustainability is built in from the ground up, with the development targeting Homestar 6 across energy, water, indoor air quality and materials.

Shared paths and landscaping will give the development a sense of community without sacrificing privacy for individual homes.

Comfortable, efficient, and designed to last.

The Flockhill Spa sits quietly within the vast Craigieburn Valley, part of a 36,000 acre working sheep station in Te Waipounamu. Designed as a place of retreat and restoration, it offers guests a deeply sensory connection to the alpine landscape through intimate, meditative spaces.

A low lying sculptural form is defined by a bold butterfly roof—lifting the building toward sky and mountain views while anchoring it gently into the land. Inside, spaces transition from enclosed to expansive, guiding a calm journey of arrival, pause, and immersion.

A restrained material palette of Western Red Cedar and standing-seam roofing ensures durability in the harsh alpine environment while allowing the building to weather naturally over time. Full-height glazing and framed view shafts draw the surrounding valley and peaks into every moment—grounding the experience firmly in place.

A calm, tactile piece of architecture shaped by landscape, light and stillness.

A refined, contemporary arrival space that sets the tone for the building’s wider transformation—one step closer as the project continues to take shape.

Box House is a single storey family home in Cashmere Estate at the base of the Port Hills in Christchurch. Gently sloping toward an adjoining reserve, the site enjoys expansive outlooks to the Southern Alps and immediate engagement with wetlands and open space to the south. The design responds closely to these conditions and to the clients’ brief for a robust, enduring home that supports everyday family life while remaining deeply connected to its landscape.

Positioned alongside the reserve, the house establishes a strong visual and physical relationship with its environment while creating sheltered, private spaces along the bedroom wing — now a distinctive outdoor play area for the family. A deliberate view shaft from the entry draws the landscape through the heart of the home, providing clear orientation on arrival while more utilitarian spaces remain discreetly tucked away.

The building sits low within the landform to minimise visual impact, with monopitched roof planes reinforcing a strong horizontal expression. A restrained palette of timber and light brick creates a solid, enduring presence, with material continuity from exterior to interior grounding the arrival sequence.

A clear transition from public to private spaces shapes the plan. Light-filled living areas open to the outdoors, while skylights animate circulation spaces with shifting light throughout the day.

A meaningful surprise last week — balloons from Cancer Society Southern thanking us for our long term support.

We are grateful for the work they do supporting people and families affected by cancer across our communities. It’s a privilege to play a small part in backing such an important cause.
