We’re so proud to share that Riches Plumbing is expanding into the Waitaki Region with a brand-new division!

For over a century, our family has cared for Canterbury Families, and now we’re looking forward to bringing that same dedication, care and trust to Oamaru, Otematata, Kurow and all of the Waitaki Region.

We’ll continue to serve our Canterbury clients as always, but we’re excited to become part of the Waitaki community—not just with plumbing, but by supporting local families in every way we can. Stay tuned—this is just the beginning!

Over 100 years ago, our family started turning up for Canterbury families with a simple goal — do honest work and stand behind it.

Four generations later, that legacy is still alive through every leak fixed, roof repaired, drain cleared, and family looked after.

In a world that changes fast, we’re proud that some things still matter: Hard work, Honesty, Reliability and standing by our word.

With everything going on overseas, we’re seeing plumbing material costs jump by up to 30% 😬

Unfortunately, this means the cost of jobs is increasing too. As much as we’d love to absorb it, it’s simply not sustainable for us to carry those rises.

We’ll always be upfront and fair with pricing, and we’re still committed to delivering the same quality work and service you expect 👍
