We’ve had a fantastic start to 2026, with several beautiful homes recently photographed. Some of these projects have been in the works since 2023–2024, so it’s incredibly rewarding to finally see them captured and to reflect on the journey of bringing each interior to life.

This beautiful home in Lake Hood, Ashburton is one of them — and it’s currently on the market! Thank you to our lovely client for allowing creative freedom on this project, what a dream!

Signing off 2025 with this dreamy en-suite ✨

We had big plans to be more active on socials this year… then projects got busy, families got busier, and suddenly it was December.

Grateful for a full year in every sense. Thank you to our wonderful clients for trusting us, our incredible suppliers for always delivering, and my amazing team for everything you do 🤍

Office Manager of the Year (Again) 🐱🎄
As we wrap up for Christmas, we’d like to formally acknowledge the real boss of Mooi Design — Maggie.

She’s kept morale high, desks warm, deadlines closely supervised (mostly by sleeping on drawings and cuttings), and ensured everyone took regular screen breaks.

We couldn’t have done 2024 without her. Wishing everyone a restful, cozy Christmas — preferably in a sunny spot, just like Maggie would recommend. ✨

We beyond honoured to have received First-Time Entrant and Silver Category awards at the NKBA Awards 2025! 🏆

This kitchen was first designed over three years ago, and to see it finally installed, lived in, and recognised at this level is incredibly rewarding.

It’s taken us nearly 10 years of hard work, learning, and growth to build up to entering the National Kitchen and Bathroom Awards. To be acknowledged alongside such inspiring talent is truly humbling.

A huge thank you to my wonderful clients for trusting the design process and allowing us to bring this vision to life. And thank you to for celebrating excellence in our industry — I’m so proud to be part of it.
