It all started in a single garage in South New Brighton Christchurch where Steve decided to put some of the skills his father (a builder) had taught him over the years to use. Working full time during the day and then working long into the night Steve knew he was passionate about working with wood. He spent years evaluating and modifying what he was building to make it easier for customers to tran
sport and install themselves as well as making a product that was going to last the distance. As time passed and customers kept coming back for his work he decided to keep building and creating new designs with the goal of making it a full time business.
10 Years on from that first shed, he has a purpose built premises on a block of land out in Oxford, North Canterbury where all his kitset sheds are made and The Wooden Shed Co. His small team prides themselves on making affordable, good looking sheds for any back yard or customizing to suit the individual requirements.
