Why an Ethical Market?
Because many goods are cheaply produced under conditions that are dangerous and substandard for workers
Because there is no guarantee that children are not being used to produce cheap goods
Because too often those working in conditions that are not acceptable in our society are underpaid, or exploited in other ways.
By shopping ethically you are supporting organisations that ensure the workspace has transparency and those employed in it are able to live a decent life.

Our goods do no harm AND actively contribute to good for the poor and marginalized overseas

Our vendors are selling goods that are ethically sourced/made and your purchases help do good in the world. Check out the 27 Seconds Wine and Olive Oil tasting. 27 Seconds donates 100% of their profits to support survivors of slavery and trafficking. Our Sunday market will be selling housewares, toys, plants and garden wreaths. And you can learn more about how you can make a difference in the world through your buying choices.
