A very personal entry. It was my nana’s birthday yesterday so I wanted to gift her a portrait.
Since I was little, exploring life through pictures, she’s always commissioned me to draw others or subjects that mattered to me. Now I’m finally able to draw her, how I see her, and with the very deep care that I hold for this beautiful woman.
You’ve encouraged me through every creative endeavour I’ve embarked on, from the very beginning - unwavering in spirit.
Your ability to love with such intensity is an admirable trait and very rare indeed. I loved drawing you, and can’t believe it took me this long to do so ❤️
