✨ Studio Ghibli Collection: Final Fade Reveal ✨
This is it: the final reveal of the full 24-mini fade. Every colour inspired by a Studio Ghibli film has now had its moment on its own, and today they finally come together, side by side, in one continuous natural gradient. What began as a daily unveiling has now reached its quiet conclusion, and this image shows the full story: how each film-inspired colour speaks to the next, how the palette breathes as a whole, and how the entire advent calendar flows as one complete body of work.
This fade was designed with intention and flexibility at its core. Colour #1 seamlessly follows on from colour #24, meaning the fade loops back into itself — you can start knitting from any point and continue endlessly in a harmonious cycle. Within the larger fade, there are also natural groupings of roughly three to six colours that can be lifted, rearranged, or worked on their own while still maintaining cohesion. Whether you knit the entire fade, work smaller projects by section, or rearrange the order to make something entirely your own, the structure invites creativity, play, and personal expression.
This collection has been a true passion project, one that required immense care, time, and heart. And with that, I want to share something important. In two weeks’ time, this Studio Ghibli Collection will be released as full skeins, available for pre-order. This will also be my final pre-order collection for pre-orders...
Since 2023, navigating financial pressure, a global recession, and an ever-growing list of responsibilities outside of dyeing has meant I’ve often been chasing my tail. Unable to create, deliver, and present yarn at the standard I hold myself to. Continuing in this way is no longer sustainable for me, creatively or financially, and from 2026 onward I will be stepping back from the business.
This final collection is my way of closing this chapter with intention… one last opportunity to create something meaningful, beautiful, and deeply considered for those who have supported my work over the years. Thank you for being here, for valuing slow art, and for allowing me to pour so much of myself into this journey. 🌿✨
