Squishy Yarn has had a major transformation over the past six months in re-evaluating who we are, refining our direction, looking at our leadership, our values and the people who have a voice in our space.

It is with this, that I am proud and honoured to welcome Kevin Krippner Photography to be a major collaborator with me in the Yarn Club, for Squishy Yarn. Each month we have a yarn club that arrives to subscribers mailboxes. It can be simply a "My treat" yarn box for a simple $35 pp or a "Yarn Club box" for $45 pp which includes a specially curated parcel just for you.

This year each months yarn club will be inspired by the photography of Kevin Krippner, a semi-professional photographer residing in Hamilton. Kevin got his first DSLR camera back in 2012 and loves working with different genres of photography. He has been selling his work both in NZ and internationally and was a winner of the Hamilton Halo Photo Competition in 2015 in the Peoples Choice Category. He has a clear direction of his future in photography so I feel honoured that he is willing to be an inspiration for our yarn club.

I will be sharing his inspiration with you all for our yarn club so you can also see why I am excited about joining with Kevin in joining in our art forms together.

This is in progress by my Entrelac specialist Sharyn! What an amazing job she is doing on this blanket. All these colours having been dyed by Squishy but knitted by Sharyn and will be standard stock colours in 2025. I am in the middle of a major website update which is happening over the next few weeks so watch this space!
