We are looking for an Apprentice - we will train you!

Extreme Flooring is a well-known, leading, flooring installation company in Auckland. We have a dynamic, easy going team who are great to work with.

Our clientele is far reaching but generally we work with leading building companies and well- known flooring retailers. Our jobs are primarily high end residential new builds and refurbished homes.

Predominantly we work with engineered timber and laminate flooring – this includes glue down timber and floating. We install stairs including custom finish and occasionally work on special projects such as feature walls in retail stores and the Block NZ. There is a lot of diversity in our work, from different substrates, design, and working across Auckland and beyond on a regular basis.

Grateful.

Extreme Flooring is grateful to have such a great team of flooring installers on board as well as to have a continued high demand for our flooring services post covid lockdown.

Apologies for being MIA on social media we have all been working so hard. We did manage to finish up a bit early one day this week so we could treat the team to go karting. Great to get together with everyone outside of the grind.

Laminate is perfect in the kitchen area too! 🏠🍳✅

One of the most commonly asked questions is what flooring is suitable for wet areas (kitchen, bathroom, and laundry)? We are glad to be asked this because it means people are moving past the common assumption that the only type of flooring suitable for wet areas is tiles and vinyl.

Laminate is water resistant and there are waterproof products too. This means it is suitable for these "wet areas". In kitchens people mostly go with the water resistant range. This resistance means that if water spills it is okay, just clean it right up. The same as you would if you had any other type of flooring.

Because Laminate is also suitable for the kitchen it means you can achieve a greater flow throughout your living areas. Having laminate across these common areas creates a seamless flow within your home, rather than the often scattered look you see when many flooring products have been used.

This choice of engineered laminate flooring provides a beautiful contrast against the clients choice of kitchen cabinetry and wooden sideboard.

Choosing wooden tones that contrast is a hard decision but when the tones work this well together it really does pay off.

We laid the flooring for this entire apartment complex so we had the chance to lay various different laminate colours. We love being able to implement our creative style in big commercial projects like this one.

Level 3 has allowed us to get back into it while carefully following Covid Health and Safety processes.
