latest project for myself finished: my own raspberry beret!

I had joined a group of knitters working on a new pattern called "Millbrook" for Kim Smith and I really loved the result. The pretty colour, "Sadnes Garn" is a linen blend yarn which made it a great between-seasons top.
Then I found "The wind cries merino" at Spotlight and forged ahead with another top, this time with a filled back using a lace pattern that I've had for-ev-er!
I'm really happy with the results!

I know that I was going to finish that WIP but baby isn't going to need that jumper for a few months and I went shopping yesterday for this beautiful yarn to knit a summer top and I just had to get started!

It's still too early for our tomatoes, so I've got to use tinned. It will still be great!
