HANRAD × Pang Xunqin | Art Rug Collection

The Art Rug Collection, inspired by the iconic designs of Chinese modernist artist Pang Xunqin, is now showcased at the Tsinghua University Art Museum as part of the special exhibition:
“The Splendor of the Grand Master: Pang Xunqin Special Exhibition”

Pang Xunqin’s pioneering exploration of art, design, decorative patterns and Chinese cultural heritage is beautifully translated into contemporary handcrafted rugs by HANRAD, bringing his artistic vision from the canvas into the world of textiles.

A meeting of art, craftsmanship and cultural heritage — celebrating Pang Xunqin’s timeless design language through the artistry of the rug.

HANRAD × Pang Xunqin

A Legacy of Art, Reimagined in Rugs
Hanrad is honoured to present the Pang Xunqin Art Rug Collection, a distinguished interpretation of the visionary works of Chinese modernist artist Pang Xunqin.

Showcased at the prestigious Tsinghua University Art Museum, the collection brings together art, craftsmanship, and contemporary design, transforming Pang Xunqin’s artistic language into exquisite woven works.

Through the medium of the art rug, Hanrad celebrates the enduring spirit of Chinese modern art while creating a dialogue between heritage and contemporary living, painting and craftsmanship, tradition and innovation.

This special exhibition is a tribute to Pang Xunqin’s remarkable artistic legacy—and to the enduring power of art to transcend generations and mediums.
