Busy prepping new ceramic buttons for . Underglazing with .underglaze is my favourite way to add a personal touch to my buttons and I cannot wait to see these finished!

Today I played Yarn Chicken with the early morning traffic in Dunedin. As it happened spontaneiously the lovely Laura can attest to the insident that had us both in fits of giggles and I am glad that no accidents where caused because of my wayward yarn deciding to pop out of my bag on one side of the lights and the other half dropping on the other that lead to the discovery of the carnige I had caused in the middle of a busy Dunedin road. The comic strip gives you an Idea of what happened! all I could say after the giggles had dissipated, and had collected the rest of my project from the lovely shocked gentleman across the road, Was that my spinning was top notch as the Cars, Motorbikes and Trucks didnt destroy my Polworth hand spun Yarn. My yarn and project have been told off and shoved into the bottom of my bag and we have both lernt from this experience! I apologise to the road users and gentleman and hope they forgive my very naughty yarn!

My yongest son over the weekend got into my jewelry box and managed to break a bracelet of mine to the point it wasnt an easy fix so insted I made the beads and charms into stitch markers.

I got the bracelet from Notre Dame on my OE many years back so has a lot of memories for me. These Stich markers are all unique just like my ceramic pieces.

These and other repurposed Stitch Markers will be avaiable to purchaes at . or message me if you would like a set but will not be attending Unwind.

So... Ive been very busy since my kiln controller went down before christmas and now that i am back up and going again this has been the first time since I started making ceramic buttons I have filled my kiln all the way up with buttons. I have alot of glazing to do!

There is some old favourites and some new ideas in this bisqued lot that i cant wait to show you all.

My next Market is in March so I am hoping I can get at least half done by then!
