Knife Rental & Sharpening & Sales. Based in Hamilton we travel throughout the North Island with our rental knives.

The Knifeman has been in the knife business for over 10 years, professionally trained as a "Moleta" or knifegrinder in Italy and now offering knife rental and sharpening services. If you require sharpening outside of Hamilton we use a courier pickup/delivery. Check us out on TRADE ME for knife sales - no1knifeman. Although sharpening steels keep a knife sharp for a period of time, all knives need

to be sharpened. There are several stones and sharpening kits available that work well, but there is no substitute for professional sharpening. FREE PICKUP AND DELIVERY ANYTIME FOR MORE THAN 8 ITEMS IN THE HAMILTON AREA. COURIER SERVICE USED FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE OF HAMILTON.

Have your knives lost their sharp edge or been damaged?

If your knives. scissors and/or garden tools have lost their sharp edge due to constant sharpening, or the blades have been damaged, I can re-shape and repair these and restore that sharp edge. If the blade is badly damaged, leave it with me and I will get back to you when it is done.

As I will be unavailable for a couple of weeks at the beginning June, call in at my workshop during the next couple of Wednesday afternoons (3.00 pm to 5.30 pm) with your knives etc and I will get them sharpened as while you wait.

Alternatively, you can arrange a suitable time to drop them off and I will contact you once they are ready for pickup, or I can sharpen them while you wait.

I also have new and used knives for sale at incredible prices.

Knifeman uses a wet stone water cooled sharpening technique which ensures your knives get a razor-sharp edge with long durability.

Christmas is nearly here. Bring all your knives for sharpening before Xmas/New Year.
A sharp knife is an important tool for anyone involved in food preparation in order to slice ingredients with ease, safely and also improves presentation.
Looking for that unique gift. Call in and look at our range of new knives which would make wonderful gifts for your coming summer barbeques.
We also have lots of secondhand knives which would make excellent fish or boning knives, or an extra kitchen knife.
We are open every Wednesday afternoon from 3.00 pm until 5.30 pm.
