Behind every installation is a lot more than just flowers.

One of the things I love most about working with dried and preserved florals is the flexibility they offer. They travel beautifully, can be prepared ahead of time, and allow me to create large scale designs without the stress of last-minute flower deliveries or fragile blooms.

For weddings, elopements and events, that means more time focusing on the details, styling and overall experience rather than racing against the clock.

The challenge is creating arrangements that still feel organic, modern and full of movement. That’s where the design process comes in — balancing colour, texture, scale and shape so each piece feels intentional and natural.

The final installation might only take a few minutes to set in place, but the planning, mechanics and design behind it are where the magic really happens.

LOVE IN THE LOFT

An intimate wedding doesn’t mean compromising on beautiful details.

Created for a styled micro wedding concept in Hamilton, these florals were designed to feel romantic, textural and full of movement while complementing the softness and light of the space.

The ceremony installations combined fresh roses with dried and preserved florals, creating depth, texture and interest from every angle. Alongside them, a preserved boutonnière was designed as a keepsake to be enjoyed long after the day itself.

Designed with pop up weddings, micro weddings and elopements in mind, this concept shows how a thoughtfully styled ceremony can feel elevated, intentional and beautifully personal without the scale of a traditional wedding.
