With Cyclone Vaianu approaching Hawke’s Bay, we hope everyone is keeping safe. Many of you have visited today with understandable concerns about the weekend’s weather. We know the impact Cyclone Gabrielle had on our community three years ago, and it’s natural for this to bring up worry as we prepare again.

We want to reassure you that we will be open on Saturday morning from 9am to 12 noon for anyone needing chainsaws, chains, oils, or other essentials to prepare for potential fallen trees.

If you need support or have any questions, please reach out — we’re here to help however we can.
