AFTER 138 DAYS… MISSY’S DAY HAS FINALLY COME! 💗

After 138 days in our care, our beautiful Missy finally has a place to call her own. 🥹🏡❤️

Blake and Jane travelled all the way from Wellington to meet Missy and give her the loving home she has been waiting for. From the very first meet-and-greet, Missy ran straight to them like she already knew… this is my family.

Missy’s journey hasn’t always been easy. She arrived at our care as a tiny little pup, found on the side of the road with her siblings. She was then raised with two amazing foster families before returning to our care and waiting for her forever family.

Being a long-stay animal doesn’t mean they aren’t perfect. It doesn’t mean there is something wrong with them. ❤️

Sometimes, their person just hasn’t found them yet. Sometimes, the timing, place and chapter simply aren’t right.

But when it finally happens… it is the most perfect match.

Missy was the last of her siblings waiting for her forever home, and today she gets to close one chapter and start the most beautiful new one — with her family. 🏡💗

Thank you to her wonderful foster families for loving and caring for her along the way, and thank you to Missy’s new family for travelling all the way from Wellington to find her.

Happy forever, beautiful Missy. Your wait was worth it. ❤️

💛 Meet Missy 💛

Missy is the last of her litter still waiting for her forever home. What started as a short stay has turned into a much longer wait, and this beautiful girl is still hoping someone will see her and fall in love.

Missy spent several months in foster care, where she got to experience home life — playing with cats and dogs, learning about the world, and snuggling up with her humans on cold days. 🥰

She is a fun, clever and energetic young girl with a big personality and even bigger heart. She loves being involved in everything and has so much potential with the right family.

Missy would suit an active home where someone can help her with training, enrichment and new adventures.
