Christie did an amazing job putting up our gallery wall in our studio 👏 😍 🖼 This wall means a lot to us, they are all artworks from very special NZ artists that we have amazing relationships with. We cant wait for the wall to grow!

The entranceway to the Children’s ward at Hawke’s Bay Hospital has had a spruce up. The team has created a floor-to-ceiling artwork inspired by Cape Kidnappers.

Antony Clark, Founder and Design Director of Your Decal Shop says transforming a dull wall into a vibrant local scene has been such a rewarding project.

“For years, we’ve aspired to contribute to the Hawke’s Bay Children’s Ward, as this is close to our hearts with our own young family growing up here.”

“It’s a privilege to contribute to projects that uplift our local community and bring joy to our youngest members.”

Michelle Robertson, Paediatric Clinical Nurse Manager says: “Being in hospital can be a very stressful time for tamariki and their whānau and artwork that makes the space more welcoming goes a long way to putting children at ease. There’s been a lot of good feedback from both patients and staff.”

This latest artwork follows on from the Kiwiana-themed children’s treatment rooms that Antony and the team worked on last year.
