Gardenalia is our small shop in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay that specialises in genuine antiques and collectable gardenalia - all sourced from the UK. Our business combines our passion for gardening with a love for old things for the garden, verandah, outdoor room or home. We travel annually to the UK and handpick our one-off treasures from antique & vintage fairs, auctions, flea markets and recla

mation yards. Our authentic treasures all have a history, are full of character and different. They may be time worn but are far from being past their best. Our love is for finding gardenalia pieces to inspire and share with you. All items on the website are available for purchase unless specified otherwise. Please email or call for any enquiries.

Over the past 8 years in the village we’ve transformed 2 different shops to make our own. Now it’s time to do it a third (and final) time.

Our lease ends next month and we’re relocating to Kahuranaki Road in the TukiTuki Valley (15mins drive from the village) where we’re going to operate alongside our seasonal cut flower business from the one location - less retail rush, more country pace 💃👏

Our town gate to the shop may be closing but our new spot is well underway and will be open once we’ve completed the “to-list”. There’s a little more involved this move than simply moving buildings 😮‍💨

So while the work behind the scenes continues our regular shop open days will pause for a period until early next year.
The way we operate will naturally become a little different from our years in town, with more curated opening times, seasonal hours, a week at a time, including some evenings 🥂
All opening weeks will be shared well in advance through the website and socials, ensuring you have ample time to plan your visit.

In the meantime, the website will continue operating as usual with new stock and updates continuing throughout the relocation.
We’ll continue sharing updates and glimpses behind the scenes via our email newsletter.

I’ve just been down a long bunny hole going back through photos for this post 🤣, dear lord we’ve come a long way!!

I’ve got so much to talk about but I’m going to keep this brief tonight and just give you the essentials. Don’t worry I’ll be back a lot over the next 25 days 🤭

*SATURDAY 13 JUNE *
is your last opportunity to experience our wee antique and vintage shop in the village.
Our lease finishes at the end of June and we’re relocating. (No change to the website) It was my intention to share all details with you tonight, sorry, those jolly photos!

Tomorrow we’re opening our gates with the beginning of our “relocation edits”, with more treasures added over the coming days 👏

I need my large urn back so I’m having a cleanse of this rather full dried arrangement (of sorts! It’s basically where I put any left overs 🤭).
I don’t want to be the one to pull it apart so I’m selling the entire large bunch for $100.00!!
There’s a huge number (hundreds) of stems in the urn of varying flowers/seed pods/small branches.

For you perhaps or you have a friend that can split it with 🤔 For your home or work place?
