Gardenalia is our small shop in Havelock North, Hawke’s Bay that specialises in genuine antiques and collectable gardenalia - all sourced from the UK. Our business combines our passion for gardening with a love for old things for the garden, verandah, outdoor room or home. We travel annually to the UK and handpick our one-off treasures from antique & vintage fairs, auctions, flea markets and recla

mation yards. Our authentic treasures all have a history, are full of character and different. They may be time worn but are far from being past their best. Our love is for finding gardenalia pieces to inspire and share with you. All items on the website are available for purchase unless specified otherwise.

Wow, where have the past 4 weeks gone!!
After 2 very busy weeks relocating Gardenalia, and then another 2 sorting out the shambles 😂 I’m back.

I’m settling into a whole new day’s routine after spending the past 8 years heading to town to the shop.
I have a temporary desk in front of the fire, the warmest Shop winter I’ve had. Our plans are coming along nicely, other than no painting being done in our new location🤭.
The weather’s been so stunning I’ve found myself heading straight outside (once the frost thaws ☺️) to my long lost garden! It’s loving me for it!!

Spoiler alert - please don’t get super excited over the next 3 weeks when you see photos from the UK - I’m NOT on a buying trip (although I am taking 2 suitcases for small treasures 👏) but I am going to the UK to see two of my babies 🥰💃
(We are still on track for the next buying trip May&June 2027)

The website continues as normal and my number 1 fan “That Guy” is keeping the home fires burning and staying on top of packaging for the courier and freight, you’re in great hands ☺️ 💚🌼

As the days are running past very fast, I’m now doing a lot of things “for the last time” and seeing a lot of “last of’s”. These vases are all we have remaining in stock!! Don’t be fooled by those who say “you’ve got enough vases surely”😂

Another “last” was putting fresh flowers into the large urns today at the shop. I wouldn’t say I arranged this time, more like a fast plonk 🏃‍♀️😂
But it’s also a first 👏 My double white tree dahlia didn’t get hammered by a frost, before I got to see them, ooh la la💃

Many more “last’s” coming my way though with our gate closing in the village for the last time 3.00pm this Saturday!! Where did 8 years go?? 💚🌼

I need my large urn back so I’m having a cleanse of this rather full dried arrangement (of sorts! It’s basically where I put any left overs 🤭).
I don’t want to be the one to pull it apart so I’m selling the entire large bunch for $100.00!!
There’s a huge number (hundreds) of stems in the urn of varying flowers/seed pods/small branches.

For you perhaps or you have a friend that can split it with 🤔 For your home or work place?
