Join Jessica Covell for a hands-on tufting workshop exploring collaborative textile-making through wool, texture, and place.
Participants will have the opportunity to try tufting on a large-scale shared artwork: a simple map of South Invercargill created collectively throughout the session.
Because tufting is a physical art form that involves handling specialised equipment, this workshop is recommended for ages 12 to 24. Younger participants who feel confident and capable are also welcome to have a turn with guidance.
Alongside the tufting activity, participants can explore weaving with wool using handmade stick looms in a relaxed, drop-in style activity suitable for a range of ages and experience levels.
Workshop Sessions:
Friday 22nd May 2026
10.30am - 12pm, and 4.30pm - 6pm
No cost, Bookings required
