From the studio |

•Floating Candles - Something I've wanted to make for a while now. I'll make these in a bunch of colours over the next few weeks.
•Vase and candle cluster from market setups.
•Studio bee.
•All the taper candle holder sets sold apart from the brown set. The colour combo got a lot of attention.
•Messy studio things.
•More market displays.
•All of the waterlily and ceramic holders sold. Lots given as Mothers Day gifts :))

Big thanks for the support over the weekend. I have a lot of ceramics to make for restock!

It's been a minute since I've been on the lathe to shape some new candles.

Starting with solid blocks of wax I always have to have an idea in mind before I lathe otherwise it turns to custard.

The 2nd photo is of the first lot of lathed candles I ever made and it's inspiring me to get back on it and turn out some new shapes.

The last candle I made a while ago however I don't think I'll make a mould from this instead I'll add it onto the website by the end of the week.

Large Waterproof Beeswax Vase in this gorgeous brown/purple colour is on the website now.

The vase has been intentionally made to have the textured concrete look achieved through change in wax temperature.

H34 x W15cm.

100% beeswax & waterproof.

Candle plates back in stock.

Wheel thrown by Millie at Laughing Pottery, these candle plates fit a range of candles including the large Lotus and suit all the colours.

I have added a couple of large lotus candle and plate sets online as this combo is always a fave.

•Beautiful day at Cambridge Autumn Fair-live music, fairies🫧 and old oak trees🍂
•New glaze combos coming soon. Can't wait to see how these turn out!
•Kids school holiday workshop candle holder making.
•Dried mushroom holders and acorns for kids workshop ready to be fired 🍄
•New pottery pieces picked up. Rather please how these turned out. Some sold at market. Hope to have the rest online soon.
•Beautiful big wax vase sold at market. How good is the colour combo of those tapers-and that wax drip✨

UPCOMING ADULTS WORKSHOP

Saturday August 23rd.

There's bee a lot of interest in workshops recently.

These cool winter months are the perfect time while the bees hibernate and the studio doesn't feel like a sauna.

I have 4 spaces remaining for a wine, wax and clay workshop.

Get creative in the warm studio making clay candle holders to hold your handmade dipped candles.

The clay pieces can be glazed in a variety of colours then once dried, I'll take them to be fired in a kiln.
