Ragamuffin Crafts Hand made soap and felted wool crafts. I have around 20 sheep, which I shear once a year. I don't dock, castrate or eat any of the sheep.

Not wanting to waste all the lovely wool, I started playing around with different wool crafts.......

About sheep : Most of the sheep are a rare breed of milking sheep called awassi which have different coloured and textured wool. I love them all (even Ivory who prefers to keep to herself), some of them are as cuddly as cats which is often a surprise to visitors who don't expect sheep to be so in

teractive. I keep the animals and land mostly organic, but occasionally use conventional treatments if the animals don't respond to organic methods.

These desktop calendars are $25 each. Let me know if you would like a mixture of photos from around Aotea or Kawhia, or if you would prefer a calendar with a selection of my art works. Calendars dates go from 2024 to the end of 2025.

Washcloth and soap in one! Felted soap is gently exfoliating and not slippery to hold. It lasts longer than regular soap and there is no waste - every bit of the soap is used up. The felted wool layer shrinks with the soap and remains snug around the bar. Wool is naturally antibacterial, breathabl.....
