Gateshead Equestrian is delighted to welcome back a staff member who is not only extremely talented in her work, but also super to work with. Her talents are way beyond making products for horses, she has worked with award winning designers to produce some exceptional clothing.
Pictured here is her first ever attempt at a false tail storage bag. This is a customer order who wanted a 'pink forward' bag that was also practical and would fit 4 x pony size tails in the bag.
All I told Julie (new/old worker) to 'go for it' and this is what she came up with. I'm not 'into' pink myself, but even I would use it as its just so nice/cute but also very classy.

It's off to the deep south to be enjoyed by one of our long term customers who has always been a pleasure to deal with. Enjoy!

POA on application of any bridle/hat/boot or false tail bags, we make them all and as you can see they are all made to measure to what you would like. There's no multi productions of same old same here at GHE :)

Gateshead Equestrian is doing a pop up Trade stand THIS Sunday at the Dressage CD Give it a go day combined with the Manawatu A & P measuring day held at Manfield Park, Feilding. Open from 9-2.30 located alongside the measuring stand (in the small alcove) between the stand and the wash down bays.

Hopefully the weather is kind for us all :)

We have lots of new lovely pre owned gear just in, plus all sizes of anti rub vests, waterproof tubes (neck rugs) and wool rugs.

Judging by the number of waterproof tubes and anti-rub vests we are making and sending out atm, there's a lot of lost manes, or cover rubs going on.

Waterproof tubes not only save manes, but they also encourage mane growth all while keeping the horse or pony warm/dry and clean. Priced from $145.00 + PP

Anti rub vests. These have always been one of our success stories, as they work and they last for years and years (many have stories on over a decade of use). Pony $90.00/Horse $95.00 + PP

(as an aside one very organised customer has two summer knit hoods and an anti rub vest on their way to her today, so spring is definitely just around the corner - yay :)

Star pens are on their way! Arrival late August. Most are sold but I have three pens still available @ $29.00 each plus post.

Looking forward to attending this event tomorrow. We will be inside a warm Trade Hall with the other traders, so easy to shop out of the forecasted weather.
