Last night I got to experience a world first…
 
I was invited to the launch of the Rinnai Velare hybrid electric fireplace. A stunning new design that combines the ambience of an electric fire with the extra warmth of heat pump technology. Electric fireplaces are loved for their mesmerising glow and cosy feel, but they’re limited to around 2kW of heat. Rinnai has changed that by integrating a heat pump behind the fire, creating a simple, clever solution that delivers much more warmth.
 
And it’s made here in New Zealand. Brilliant in its simplicity and design.

Decisions, decisions… choosing the perfect floor lamp for a space can be tricky. Another great way to use AI in interior design: take a photo of the living room, explore different options visually, and let AI do the heavy lifting before anything is purchased. It makes decision making so much easier for clients, and helps them feel confident about the final look.

It has been a busy and inspiring June with bedroom projects; A main bedroom with mesmerising blue silk like wallpaper with a blend of linen and silk fabric for curtains, an undulating headboard upholstered in a tactile chenille fabric, and underfoot new wool carpet. Two other bedrooms with opaline coloured wallpaper in a matte silk finish, upholstered headboards featuring a wavy patterned fabric in two colour ways, curtains are fluid and tactile and new wool carpet.
