My thoughts are with those affected by the flooding in Wellington early this morning!

🚨 WELLINGTON REGIONAL STATE OF EMERGENCY DECLARED 🚨

A State of Emergency has been declared for the Wellington region following severe weather. This includes Wellington City, Hutt Valley, Porirua, Kāpiti and Wairarapa.

This provides emergency services with additional powers to respond quickly and keep people safe.

Our region’s councils advise the following:

What you need to do now:
⚠️ Move away from low-lying or flood-prone areas for the next 24 hours
❌ Stay off the roads unless absolutely necessary
✔️ Follow instructions from emergency services
🏠 Stay home if it is safe and avoid floodwaters or damaged areas
🌊 Never walk, swim or drive through floodwater
⬆️ Evacuate immediately to higher ground if water rises
⏱️ Don’t wait for an official alert if you feel unsafe
💡 Secure loose items and prepare for possible power outages
🤝 Check on neighbours, whānau and anyone who may need extra support

We will be at Bogan Day Out, Brewtown on the 14th!
And all our stock is still on sale!

I'm looking for a cat rescue (in the wellington area) who has some cats on a vet recommended diet (specifically Royal Canin Sensitivity control and Royal Canin Gastrointestinal).
Pet Direct were so kind as to refund us for Titchs food but they couldn't take it back as they sell them by box not sachet and we'd opened the boxes. So we'd like to make sure Titchs food goes to a rescue with some kitty's in need.
Any recommendations please tag them.

Unfortunately we won't be at Martinborough Fair tomorrow. We've had a terrible couple of weeks moving house then to top it off we had to put our beautiful Titch to sleep yesterday so we are taking some time to grieve.

5 weeks until our first market of 2026! We are taking January off to move house yet again. But we're looking forward to February!

2026 is here and we are just 5 weeks away from fair #1.

Many of our stall holders have started the 2026 fair season already and we cannot wait to host them in Martinborough.

Our first fair coincides woth Waitangi day long weekend so its a perfect chance to come and discover all the Wairarapa has to offer.

Over the next 5 weeks we will share exciting updates on everything ypu need to know if your a first time visitor as well as this years updates for long time fair lovers.
