Scrapbook Central Specialists in Scrapbooking, Card-making and Paper-craft supplies. We are a family owned independent retail store. Scrapbook Central was opened in June of 2003.

In the beginning the focus was to introduce people to Scrapbooking and support the local Scrapbooking community. At that time there were very few Scrapbooking stores in New Zealand. Very quickly we branched into card-making classes and supplies as many of the techniques were transferable between the two craft areas. Now the term Paper Crafting is used to describe scrapbooking, card making and othe

r paper related crafts like Home Decor, Off the Page, Canvas Art, Mini Albums, Invitational Stationary etc. We have focused on carrying the widest selection of coloured cardstock and patterned papers in store (currently 1600 approx). We have run classes from the time we opened and continue to do so. In recent times we have started to make more classes available as kits with instructions for people to do at home. Most of the classes will be available as a Kit through the online store. We are located in Epuni, Lower Hutt, New Zealand, right across the road from the Epuni Railway Station and handy bus stop.

Lake Taupo just now ❤️ so beautiful. We are on our way to Rotorua for our annual Scrapaway weekend with Zippy Laser Designs and lots of lovely papercrafters from all around New Zealand and even Australia. For our local customers just a reminder we are on short hours 10am to 2pm today, Fri and Sat this week and will be closed next Monday. Back to usual next Tuesday😀

If you live in or near the Rotorua area we are headed your way this weekend for our annual Scrapaway Retreat, along with Zippy Laser Designs, at Arawa Park Hotel, 272 Fenton Street.
On Saturday our pop-up shops at the retreat are OPEN to the public from 10am - 3pm. So make the most of some local papercraft retail therapy. We'd love to see you and share the papercrafty love.
For our local Wellington customers we are open as usual through to Wednesday this week then on short hours 10am - 2pm Thursday, Friday & Saturday this week. We will be CLOSED next Monday, then back to usual on Tuesday16 June.
