Yesterday I volunteered for the final day of Hospice Awareness week, raising money for
There were so many generous people who donated as they shared their stories with me about how Hospice helped their families.
I was lucky enough to be paired with Linda, who is a Hospice patient (Shared with permission). We had incredible conversations and Linda shared her story with me and I have since listened to a podcast that she did recently with and
Linda is such a beautiful reminder that we get to choose what we do with our time on this earth and get to choose the mentality we take into things. It really reinforced that I’m on the right path with Oan Dae (literally about owning your days).
I truely wish death was a more common conversation in society. Let’s face it, whether we have a terminal diagnosis or not, we’re all guaranteed to die one day. Accepting this can help us be so intentional with our days on this earth.
Honestly, if you feel like you’re needing some purpose in your life, volunteer for something close to your heart. What an absolutely special day ✨
