How high should you hang your art?
One of the most common styling mistakes? Hanging art too high on the wall 🙈
Here’s the golden rule to follow:
👉 Center your art at around 145–155cm from the floor (about 60 inches) that’s roughly eye level for most people.
This keeps your artwork grounded and balanced with your furniture—not floating awkwardly above it.
Bonus tip: If you’re hanging art above a sofa or console, aim for a couple of inches of space between the top of the furniture and the bottom of the artwork.
It’s a small shift that makes all the difference.
*Of course these are just general rules, and always depends on what items might be on the console table, or how high pieces of furniture are. But remember 60 inches is a great starting point!
