This little patch is purely for my own flower indulgence (no cutting to sell from this patch!) to be admired from my kitchen window… now fully planted with the 160+ left over pre-sprouted ranunculus, after we planted 400+ in the cutting garden yesterday… may be one of my favourite spring flowers 🤪

Finally! One step ahead of Mother Nature!

So grateful to my wonderful garden helpers (you know who you are 🥰🙏) for helping me get all the beds weeded, cut back and covered in lucine bailage.
The plants said thank you this morning for their cosy blankets as it was -3.5 degrees degrees and we are delighted to be flying towards the equator 🏝️🐠☀️🙌

Spring flowers? It all starts now… with good ground prep. Some say I’m crazy, but this is a thing of beauty and satisfaction! 🤣 string line, Robuck broad fork, organic fertilizer and rake… next lucerne bailage on the path and then planting out ranunculus that are currently pre-sprouting in potting mix in bulb crates, so I plant only the healthiest plants. Love my patch 💪💐
