Ooh overnight drama! I got a message this morning from a lovely neighbor who said that the stand blew over in the night (or was pushed? 🫢) and she stood it back up for me 😍

That thing is HEAVY so that's no simple feat 😂

But she's up again! Flowers out from 9am ☺️

Was it windy last night?

PS I actually have a new stand in the works by the way... Can't wait til it's ready! I think it'll actually stay standing 😂

Oh man I am not good at keeping my own secrets, especially when I'm this excited! But I need to wait until it's all confirmed and then I promise I'll tell you alllllll about it!!

Also I bet you're wondering what I'm doing 😂 I have a few days worth of flower stand jars to wash so I'm emptying them into a bucket (not onto the floor as someone asked 😂 😂) and then I'll take them in and whack them into the dishwasher so they are nice and clean. Only the best for our blooms! Looking forward to getting my new stand built and switching to buckets ☺️

The ranunculus patches are still going strong, lucky that heat died down a bit, we want more flowers please! I remember last season it felt like one day I was swimming in blooms and the next they all quit... These divas do not like it too warm ☀️

💐 The alstromeria patches are about to burst into bloom I'm super excited for them. I planted these patches last year and they didn't do much as they got established but I expect a gorgeous show any day now...they are my favorite filler in bouquets: bright, beautiful and they last sooooo long in a vase and keep opening more and more buds, they'll be the last ones standing every time!

And do you spot those gorgeous iris in the stand this week! I nipped out and collected some blooms to compliment our bouquets this week from my friend Gina. Her pick-your-own flower farm is featuring in the Brightwater Garden trail this weekend so I definitely recommend checking that out! Gina’s Garden

Thanks for all your orders this week everyone, our pre-orders are sold out!

Also who has some ideas for me... I need a solution for my deliveries because as you can see my boot is getting too full 🤦🏼‍♀️ At the moment I am limiting how many orders I take around how much time I have to deliver them so it's time to outsource I think. Who knows a thing or two about organising a courier to deliver flowers? I need tips! I need Uber but for bouquets haha.

Today's delivery was fun actually it was to a preschool and I took the mini boss with me. She felt very grown up and was saying to me 'I bet these children all wonder why I'm here because I'm too big to come here now aren't I mum-Cos I'm 5!!' awww my big girl!

💐 As far as the flower stand goes this week... It will be nice and full though until Saturday, but if you are wanting flowers for this weekend I recommend coming Friday. I'll be off competing this weekend in the first ever NZ National Catchball league (so excited!!!!!) so Sunday I won't have flowers out and Saturday will likely be a few less than usual.
