Choosing between a Fixed and Tilt luminaire can have a significant impact on the way a space is illuminated.

The Zela Deep Fixed is designed for applications where light is required directly below the luminaire. Its deep recessed design delivers exceptional visual comfort by reducing glare, making it an excellent choice for living areas, hallways, bedrooms and general illumination throughout the home.

When lighting artwork, feature walls, joinery or areas where the light needs to be directed away from the ceiling position, a Zela Deep Tilt luminaire is often the better solution. The fully adjustable 360° gimbal allows the beam to be precisely aimed, providing greater flexibility and control.

Both have their place in great lighting design. The key is selecting the right tool for the right application. Reach out to our Switch Lighting team of Lighting Consultants for advice on your new build or renovation project.

Some luminaires are designed to disappear.

Others deserve to be seen.

The Switch Lighting ZELA décor Surface Mount has been created for projects where surface-mounted lighting becomes part of the architectural aesthetic. With its clean cylindrical form, refined detailing, and premium finish, it delivers a sophisticated lighting solution when recessed installation isn't possible or when the luminaire itself is intended to make a design statement.

Available in multiple finishes on the outer and inner trims, the ZELA décor Surface Mount combines architectural presence with the optical performance and low-glare illumination that Switch Lighting is known for.

Proof that practical lighting can still be beautiful.

Just 1 watt! The result - an exceptional impact.

Our Mini-LIGHTZ Deep Fixed may be compact, but it delivers a remarkably dramatic lighting effect. The deep recessed design helps minimise glare, allowing the light to gently reveal textures, finishes and architectural details without causing visual discomfort.

In this beautiful bathroom application, the warm colour temperature enhances the richness of the wall surfaces, creating a luxurious and inviting atmosphere that feels both sophisticated and relaxing.

With an IP67 rating, the Mini-LIGHTZ range is suitable for both interior and exterior applications, delivering reliable performance in a wide range of environments. Designed, engineered and built in New Zealand, it's proof that great lighting isn't measured by wattage alone.
