It is with heavy hearts that we share an important update with our community.

After an unforgettable journey, the time has come to say goodbye to the Venezuelan restaurant you've come to know and love.

As a family business, this has been one of the hardest decisions we've ever had to make. Over the years, we've poured our hearts into every dish, sharing the flavours, traditions, and warmth of Venezuela with our community here in New Zealand. We are incredibly proud of everything we've built together.

To every customer who walked through our doors, celebrated special occasions with us, introduced friends and family to Venezuelan food, or simply stopped by for their favourite arepa—thank you. You didn't just support a small business; you supported our family's dream.

Although it is heartbreaking to say farewell to the dishes that defined us for so long in our restaurant, we are deeply grateful for every meal shared, every kind word, every recommendation, and every memory we've created together.

Thank you for believing in us, for embracing our culture, and for making us feel at home in New Zealand. While this chapter of our restaurant is coming to an end, our passion for sharing delicious food and creating joyful moments lives on.

​Join us this Sunday, July 5th, from 11:30 am to 3 pm for a special Lunch Fundraiser. 50% of all sales during this time will be donated directly to the NZ Red Cross to support relief efforts on the ground.

Dear Valued Customers,

Many of you know that our shop has been closed for the past few weeks due to personal circumstances. However, in light of the heartbreaking devastation caused by the recent earthquakes in Venezuela, we have made the decision to reopen our doors with a greater purpose.

From next week, 100% of our profits will be donated to those in need in Venezuela.

It is difficult to put into words the pain so many families are experiencing. In less than a minute, hundreds of lives were changed forever as buildings collapsed, homes were destroyed, and loved ones were lost. Amid the tragedy, we have also witnessed incredible moments of hope as rescue teams continue to pull survivors from the rubble.

What has touched our hearts the most are the children—those who have lost their parents, their homes, and the sense of safety every child deserves. Hearing a child say, "My mum and dad are still under there," is something no one should ever have to experience. While we are grateful for every life that is saved, many children now face an uncertain future and will need love, care, and support more than ever.

This is why we want to do what we can.

We warmly invite you to visit our shop, whether it's to make a purchase, share a conversation, or simply show your support. Every visit and every purchase will help provide hope and care for children who need it most.

Thank you for standing with us, for keeping the people of Venezuela in your thoughts and prayers, and for helping us bring hope to children during this incredibly difficult time.
