A home should be a reflection of the people who live in it.

This light-filled new build was designed with minimalist restraint; creating a calm canvas that gives the client’s collection of homewares, furniture and artwork the breathing room they deserve. Not to mention the stunning ocean view…a hero in itself! Did you spot the subtle nod to the ocean hanging over the Kitchen island? Nightworks Studio

From tired to timeless 🖤

This hallway and staircase have gone from tired and dated to fresh and timeless, while staying true to the character of the home.

Restored timber floors, contrasting details, v-groove wall panelling and a custom stair runner come together to create an elegant and understated entrance.

Colour drenched in green. 💚

The third and final bathroom reveal from an epic renovation project in Waimate.

Originally built in 1876, this home had seen better days. After countless hours of labour and love, she’s now shining brighter than ever while honouring her heritage.

Swipe to catch a glimpse of the adjoining master bedroom, and don’t miss the before photos to see just how far this transformation has come.

A reminder that timeless design is often found in the simplest materials. In this case, a simple white tile! It’s the tile layout, grout colour and detailing that make all the difference.

Because the most functional spaces deserve beautiful details too...

One of three beautifully appointed bathrooms in this spectacular home. Can you spot the diamond detail in the window, echoed throughout the tiles?

It’s been just over a year between before and after videos and this stunning project is finally (almost) complete.

Thank you to Sara and Scott…my amazing clients for being bold and staying true to your personal style. Thank you for putting so much trust in me from afar and allowing me to help bring your vision into reality. Every detail in this home has been thoughtfully considered, with elements sourced from all over the world.

This project has been a labour of love from everyone involved and whilst there were challenges along the way, seeing everything finally come together is so rewarding and exciting!

Shout out to all of the trades that have been working hard for so long and for executing the vision we had on paper into the most stunning and unique home. ~ Tessa (Waitaki Interiors)

Just a small snippet of a stunning project from 2025. Despite being a new build, this home is full of character and oozes classic farmhouse vibes…but with a modern twist.

This Kitchen was an area that needed to be carefully thought out and there were a few technical changes made along the way.

The materials selected set the tone for the rest of the home and did a fantastic job executing the vision we had for this space.

Congratulations to Gabby from on opening her new hair studio at 2a Harbour Street.

It was a pleasure to assist Gabby with this and we are thrilled that she has finally opened her doors.

It seems that this beautiful Ronde fabric was made for the space. Thanks for trusting me on this one Gab!

We opted to double track the fabric so Gabby had the option to filter light and create privacy during the day but could also pull the lining in the evening for a warm, cozy vibe.

Ronde is part of Mokum ‘Modern Art Collection’ and is composed of cloudlike shapes digitally printed onto a wide linen base, creating a translucent drapery where soft shapes dance together. Fading in and out of focus when paired with natural light, these transitions invoke a dreamlike state as pools of colour melt into one another.
