I've had a few messages lately for purchases and now's definitely the time that i create this post!
2 Months ago i had a fall, it ended up in a ride in the ambulance and a visit to hospital (the first of many) Within a week i slowly lost my ability to feel, move, bare weight and walk on one of my legs, then my other leg decided to get in on the action and i ended up in a wheelchair unable to walk at all, by this point there was plenty of hospital & Dr's visits, tests & images, Turns out i had a very large L2/3 disc herniation causing severe central stenosis & compression of the cauda equina, ive since had surgery to release the compression and i also had a discectomy, thankfully i was able to avoid a spinal fusion! and i can happily say that even though i still have a looooong way to go, Im mobile with the help of crutches!
So what does this mean for whiff & Whimsy?? At the moment we are closed temporarily, so we wont be at the Annual Otorohanga Christmas market this year as a stall... at this stage im not sure how long this closure will be, because my recovery has a lot of question marks
