2 Days Left to Have Your Say on the HSNO Amendment Bill
I’ve just made my submission.
To be honest, I’m terrified of genetically engineered organisms being released into New Zealand’s environment.
My concern is about all the plants we grow, the food we eat, the seeds we save, and the biodiversity that makes New Zealand special.
I’m a grandmother, and my biggest concern is for my moko and the generations that come after us. I want them to have the same ability to grow food from natural seed and make their own choices about what they grow and eat.
We are guardians of this land for a short time. The decisions we make today could affect generations to come.
Whether you support the Bill or not, please take a few minutes to read about it and make your own submission before submissions close.
For me, this is not about politics this is about protecting choice, biodiversity, seed heritage, our food sovereignty and the future we leave 🌱
