A productive afternoon, with some Greek yoghurt, mascarpone, roasted red pepper soup, pickled onions and dark hazelnut spread on the go. 🤤

A split weekend this week so no relish this weekend but cottage pie for dinner, plus 3 for the freezer. Winter is not my friend so autumn is spent prepping healthy freezer meals to get through. We ate the one for dinner too quick to get a photo but did manage to get one of the muffins cooling. One batch of vanilla based muffins, 4 flavours 🤤

Managed to knock out a couple of jars of strawberry jam before work this morning..no it's not a miracle. I didn't start until 12.30pm 😅

Had a big day planned today to use up the two bowls of tomatoes sat on the bench as well as the huge bags in the freezer. Also needed to use up some chilli's and zucchini so a day of relish making it would seem. Until the sun came out and the local community pool said they would let us take the dogs for a dip because it was their last day for the season.

So because of that we still had things out defrosting and ready to use so we have just finished bottling everything up with another bowl of tomatoes to use from the garden still, so much for getting them off the table like Sam wanted 😅 as well as the two bags in the freezer and the kg of strawberries in the fridge for jam making. I guess it might be an early start before work tomorrow if I can manage it 😁

When you go into the the garden for the few tomatoes left and look up to see this 😅 need to go back out with another bowl tomorrow I think. Who says a messy garden can't be productive 😁
