Aren't repeat clients a joy, for their third visit to JK Bespoke these clients had me create a floating mantle and a shelf from their own section of Totara.

Here is a simple Friday post, not a cutting board or even a platter THIS is a table feature piece, this is the start of layering for dining tables. At 92 cm long, between 29 & 34 cm wide and 4 cm high including feet to keep it clear of spills this highly grained Tasmanian Blackwood is a statement.
A rift in the timber was secured with resin, as a bonus in good strong light it's a stunning blue.

In August 2022 after that year's Manawatu Home Show a new client commissioned a Matai desk at this year's Manawatu Home Show they came back and bought a matching table for the same home office.
That Matai base material is now pretty much all gone,it was so good to see it go to a return client, thank you guys for confidence in my work.

The 2026 Manawatu Home Show is all done and packed away for another year so all that's left of it is to thank everyone. So thank you to the organizers NZME, to those who set up the venue and to my fellow exhibitors and to my son for his help over the weekend. The biggest thanks of all to those who visited my site and especially, of course, those who bought things.
As a final show note thanks to all the former clients who stopped by, it is great to see you and to know your still happy with the things you have from me.
