I made this recently from an old joinery workbench, I am very pleased with it,for the most part it is destined to be a display bench at shows (that said I will consider offers if your keen) Turns out there is an opportunity to make more or perhaps a dining table, if you are interested reach out and we can talk or message me through www.jkbespoke.co.nz

Aren't repeat clients a joy, for their third visit to JK Bespoke these clients had me create a floating mantle and a shelf from their own section of Totara.
Thank you guys for your continued confidence and support I really appreciate it.

Time, past time actually, for another post and tonight a bit of a push for one of the most important yet least promoted items in my workshop.
JK Bespoke Manuka Hive Bees Wax is our own product made in house from natural Manuka bees wax and mineral oil.
It is 100% food safe, protects and enhances timber and is used on every item to come out of my workshop and it's available on both jkbespoke.co.nz and jkboards.co.nz for $35 a jar delivered to your letterbox anywhere in NZ.

Here is a simple Friday post, not a cutting board or even a platter THIS is a table feature piece, this is the start of layering for dining tables. At 92 cm long, between 29 & 34 cm wide and 4 cm high including feet to keep it clear of spills this highly grained Tasmanian Blackwood is a statement.
A rift in the timber was secured with resin, as a bonus in good strong light it's a stunning blue.
Don't forget lots more to see at jkbespoke.co.nz and jkboards.co.nz
Happy weekend all
