Hi all, I hope everyone is having a relaxing Sunday knitting away.

I know Mayz Yarnz has been quiet the last month or so, and I just wanted to give a little explanation as to why. I live with a degenerative illness known as COPD, (chronic obstructive pulmonary disease). In short, my lungs were damaged and scarred as a child and I'm slowly losing lung function, along with a whole lot of other issues that join it.

My health is slowly heading into the next stage of the disease and for the last couple of months I've been battling infection after infection with no break in between. Meaning I've had no strength to get back into my yarn dyeing.

I'm hoping once the warmer months hit I'll be able to kick this latest bug and get things pumping again, but for now all I'm doing is knitting and snuggling my brand new fourth grand child. My Etsy store is still up and running, I'm still sending out orders but for now what's in the shop is it until I'm better.

Just finished a big stock update on Etsy. A heap of sparkle and new colourways, along with some popular originals.

Also introducing 'Sweater Packs'. These packs contain 600grams of 100% pure merino DK/8ply yarn, split into 3x 200g cakes for $95 a pack.

It's been pouring with rain here, so I've spent the day warm inside with the dye pots going. Lots of sparkle, speckle, self-striping, shawl packs and a few new colourways. Hoping to do a big stock up on Etsy this weekend and next, and share a new wool pack I've got in works.

It's been a busy, busy morning! A new toy arrived today, so I've been winding my stash and stock into cakes! From now on all yarn purchased will arrive in cakes, so you can get stuck straight into knitting when these gorgeous parcels arrive. ❤️️

I've just finishing uploading some new colourways and SPARKLE sock yarns! The photos don't do this sparkle justice, it's gorgeous. Also added minis, perfect for toes, heels and cuffs.
