Wow what an amazing response to yesterday's post. As predicted by some I have made two 15 X 15 cm squares. With 11 grams of wool left over. I'll find some stash yarn and make a third square soon. Now I wanted to show you a trick when measuring your knitting. The first photo shows that my cast on sts only measure 10cm. The second photo is the same stitches after a few rows knitted. Now measuring 15cm. So always measure after you have knitted a few cm to get a more accurate result. Here is the link to Premmie knitting club. I have set myself a little mission. Last week on Seven Sharp there was a segment on Premmie Knitting Club. Who are encouraging New Zealanders to knit a Peggy square. Then they will sew them together to keep our smallest community members warm. Wrapping these Premature babies in love from all around New Zealand. So how many 15cm squares can you get from a 50gram ball of wool? I have made a start.

Well what a start to 2026. Richard is recovering well from his two weeks stay in Wellington Hospital from January. He still has more strength to regain and needs his afternoon naps. Thank you to everyone for your amazing support. Cheers Paula, Richard and family.
