Making progress with creating new fibre artworks before the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail. Two landscapes completed (but not yet framed) and another larger one that I'm about 2/3 of the way through. There are two new Silver Birch themed works and another landscape with dark trees.

Next I might do a couple more in the "ShapeShifters" range.

Just finished a pair of fibre artworks for the "Juxtapositions" Exhibition at Kapiti Gallery (Kāpiti Arts and Crafts Society) in Raumati.

They're called "Autumn Forest" and "Winter Forest", in my ShapeShifters range. Image of "Winter Forest" below.

Back to Birches... I've changed the cover photo to a triptych of Silver Birch tree fibre artworks (these are available from CREAM Design in Otaki).

It's a while since I stitched silver birches, so this is a reminder to me to do more - in time for the Kāpiti Coast Art Trail in November.

At last count, I'd stitched 33 silver birch themed works, but I still love them... and the three real trees I planted in the back garden are getting huge now. (In the third photo, you can see them towering above the old plum tree in the lower garden, as seen from the top garden.)
