When a client asks you to make her space better, you never say no.

The challenge was making something that showed off her favourite things with real personality, while fitting perfectly into a floor to ceiling nook. The usual even rows wouldn't cut it, and there was no room for a piece that only nearly fit.

So we designed an asymmetric layout, made to the nook's exact size and finished in Prime Atmoss. It's now a working display and the focal point of the living room.

Attempt number one at not saying "ah" and "um" while showing you these beautiful oak door frames on the go for the Waikanae Library. The doors will go into the frames (yes, I know the doors aren't there yet).

They're pretty big, but the timber is stunning, and they'll look even better once they're finished. Stay tuned!

Now tell us, who wants creaky stairs in their home? No one. Stairs need to be built with quality timber and proper care. At Orchard Joinery, we take stairs to a whole new level.

This client had a specific request: solid American White Oak stairs, without laminates. Finding the perfect 300mm-wide planks took a thorough search through all our suppliers, but we tracked down the right timber.

Then Brent got to work, crafting the stairs with the care and precision they deserved. The finished result? Client approved.
