Last week we teamed up with some fellow Master Joiners from around the Wellington region and swapped tools for axes. 🪓 A solid afternoon of friendly competition, a few surprises, and plenty of laughs. Turns out accuracy looks a little different outside the workshop.

Part of the Orchard Joinery family for 16 years! You’ll usually find him in the workshop, building cabinets or running machines like the CNC and edgebander.

Over the past year, he’s been leveling up his skills in detailing and drafting, ensuring jobs are perfect before they hit the floor. With his years of hands-on experience, N spots the little things that keep every project running smoothly. 💪✨

Sometimes, you’ll even get to meet him on-site, checking measurements in person! 📏

When a client said, “I want a bookshelf, but not a boring one,” we were all in. 🤓

The challenge: a bespoke piece to show off her favourite things, with personality instead of symmetry; and it had to squeeze perfectly into a floor to ceiling nook. 🧐

Finished in Prime Atmoss, it’s now a functional display and a real focal point of the room. 👌
