Appletree Designs Ltd Internationally recognized Interior Designer Rachel Steinmetz brings back to New Zealand her unique My mission was to try out anything and everything interior.

After a lot of persuasion, I have decided to embrace FB and join the rest of the world, so here I am! After years of doing the things I thought I should do, my husband (aka chatty chat) suggested I start perusing what I truly love and am passionate about. In 2004 I began studying and practicing Interior Design while based in Europe. This included, complete project management of newly built homes,

all types of renovation work, kitchen/bathroom design and styling for magazine shoots. Now 10 years on and 3 little children later, I have decided to bring Appletree Designs to you, from the comfort of my home. Appletree Designs is all about creating a beautiful, comfortable, timeless look for my clients homes. Transforming a space into something which is relaxing and enjoyable to come home to. I have a true love of linen and other natural fibers. I encourage clients not to be scared about using these scrumptious fabrics, we just need to be educated about how to use them, particularly in our New Zealand climate. Via FB I hope to inspire you with helpful styling and decorating tips which I have learnt along the way. Showcase the latest fabrics and wallpaper trends and expose you to some amazing boutique lighting and accessories. All of which can be purchased through Appletree Designs. Thanks for reading.
